As Construction Manager Mechanical (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the successful execution of mechanical construction activities on complex industrial projects. Working closely with project management, engineering, procurement, contractors and site teams, you will coordinate all mechanical installation work from preparation through commissioning. Your responsibilities will include planning construction sequences, monitoring progress, coordinating interfaces and ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will supervise subcontractors and construction crews, review method statements, inspection and test plans, drawings and technical documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications and legal requirements. Regularly monitoring site performance, you will identify risks, resolve technical and organisational issues, and implement effective corrective measures. You will also support the management of materials, equipment, manpower and logistics, participate in site meetings, and provide clear progress reports, forecasts and documentation. Close cooperation with commissioning and quality teams will be essential to ensure smooth handover and timely completion of the project.

You have a degree, diploma or comparable qualification in mechanical engineering, construction management or a related technical discipline, combined with several years of experience managing mechanical construction activities, preferably in industrial plants, energy, infrastructure or process engineering projects. You are confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications and have a sound understanding of installation, piping, equipment, steelwork or related mechanical systems. Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment. A structured, solution-oriented approach, high safety awareness and willingness to travel or work on construction sites complete your profile. Good written and spoken English is required; knowledge of German or another relevant language is an advantage.
