We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout. This role is suited to a civil, biosystems, environmental, or related engineering professional who combines sound technical knowledge with strong project management and communication skills. You will work with clients, consultants, contractors, regulators, and internal teams to deliver safe, practical, and environmentally responsible solutions.

Responsibilities will include managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, quality requirements, and documentation; coordinating multidisciplinary design and technical teams; preparing and reviewing reports, specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and procurement documentation; and supporting permitting, approvals, tendering, construction administration, commissioning, and project closeout. You will monitor progress, resolve technical and contractual issues, lead project meetings, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve project outcomes. The role may also involve business development support, proposal preparation, site visits, construction inspections, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Applicants should have a relevant bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, biosystems, or a comparable engineering discipline, along with approximately five or more years of progressive experience delivering water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or related environmental projects. Professional registration or eligibility for registration is preferred. Experience with treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, pumping stations, drainage, water resources, or asset renewal projects will be valued. Strong understanding of project delivery methods, health and safety requirements, environmental legislation, and applicable technical standards is expected. Candidates should be organised, commercially aware, confident working independently, and capable of managing competing priorities while maintaining high-quality work. Proficiency with common project management, design, scheduling, and document-control software is an advantage. Occasional travel to project and client sites may be required.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects from inception through to completion. This role will suit a confident project professional with a strong background in civil, utilities, or environmental engineering and a proven record of delivering technically demanding programmes safely, on time, and within budget. You will manage projects across the full lifecycle, including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project execution plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and reporting frameworks; coordinating multidisciplinary design and delivery teams; and managing consultants, contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders. You will provide strong leadership across project teams, ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements, and proactively identify and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues. The role will also involve overseeing contract administration, change control, cost management, progress reporting, and performance against agreed project objectives. You will build effective relationships with clients, regulators, local authorities, and delivery partners while ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing water or wastewater projects, ideally within a regulated utility, engineering consultancy, contractor, or related infrastructure environment. A relevant degree or professional qualification in civil engineering, construction, project management, or a similar discipline is preferred, together with recognised project management or contract management certification. Strong knowledge of design and construction processes, health and safety standards, environmental legislation, procurement, and common forms of contract is essential. You will need excellent commercial awareness, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
