We are seeking an experienced Manager – EHS to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety standards across operational activities. This role will provide strategic direction and practical support to ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements and internal policies, while fostering a strong culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, audits and incident investigations; identifying corrective and preventive actions; and monitoring their timely completion. You will develop and deliver training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes for employees and contractors, ensuring that safe working practices are understood and consistently applied. The role will also oversee emergency preparedness, permit-to-work systems, occupational health initiatives, environmental controls, waste management and reporting requirements. You will maintain accurate EHS documentation, prepare performance reports and provide regular updates to senior management on key risks, trends and improvement opportunities.

The successful candidate will hold a degree or professional qualification in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline. Relevant professional certification and experience in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, logistics or similarly regulated environment would be advantageous. You should have a strong knowledge of EHS legislation, management systems, audit processes and incident prevention techniques, together with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and promote continuous improvement will be highly valued.
