We are seeking a Designer BIM/VDC (m/f/d) to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex construction and engineering projects. In this role, you will develop and maintain accurate 3D models, produce high-quality drawings and documentation, and help project teams use digital methods efficiently throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with architects, engineers, construction specialists, and external partners to ensure that design information is coordinated, consistent, and suitable for execution.
Your responsibilities will include creating and updating BIM models in accordance with project standards, preparing plans, sections, details, schedules, and visualisations, and coordinating models across different disciplines. You will identify clashes and inconsistencies, support the preparation and review of coordination reports, and contribute to the optimisation of workflows, templates, libraries, and modelling standards. You will also assist with model exchanges, data management, quantity take-offs, construction sequencing, and the preparation of digital project documentation. Where required, you will participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support to project stakeholders.
You have completed vocational training or a degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction, building services, or a comparable field, combined with professional experience in BIM, VDC, or technical design. Strong knowledge of relevant software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or comparable BIM applications, is required; experience with additional coordination, visualisation, or common data environment tools is an advantage. You are familiar with BIM methodologies, model standards, and interdisciplinary coordination, and you work accurately, independently, and in a structured manner. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in digital construction processes complete your profile. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or another European language is beneficial.
