We are seeking an experienced Land Development Project Manager to lead the planning, design, approval, and delivery of residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects. This role will oversee projects from initial feasibility and site assessment through to construction commencement, ensuring that each stage is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with approved budgets, programmes, and quality standards. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders to keep projects progressing and resolve issues promptly.
Key responsibilities include managing development feasibility studies, planning applications, engineering design, infrastructure coordination, procurement activities, and project documentation. You will prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes. The successful candidate will review technical submissions, coordinate civil, environmental, surveying, and planning inputs, and support negotiations with local authorities, utility providers, landowners, and other relevant parties. You will also monitor construction readiness, ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met, and contribute to handover and close-out activities.
Applicants should have demonstrated experience managing land development or major civil infrastructure projects, ideally across multiple project stages and stakeholder groups. A qualification in project management, engineering, construction, urban planning, property, or a related discipline is desirable, along with strong knowledge of development approvals, civil works, contracts, budgets, and project controls. You will need excellent communication, negotiation, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a changing environment. Experience using project management, scheduling, document control, and reporting systems will be advantageous. A proactive, collaborative approach and a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and customer outcomes are essential.
