We are seeking an experienced Project or Construction Manager with a strong focus on Lean and production management to lead the safe, efficient and timely delivery of construction and industrial projects. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities from planning and mobilisation through to completion, ensuring that scope, programme, quality, cost and performance objectives are achieved. The role will involve working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to maintain clear communication and effective project control.
Your duties will include developing and monitoring project programmes, managing budgets and resources, reviewing design and technical information, coordinating site operations, and identifying and resolving risks, constraints and potential delays. You will establish effective production planning routines, track progress against agreed targets and lead regular performance reviews. Using Lean principles, you will support continuous improvement, reduce waste, improve workflow reliability and promote efficient use of labour, materials and equipment. You will also ensure that health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are understood, implemented and maintained throughout the project lifecycle, while producing accurate reports and maintaining appropriate records.
Applicants should have proven experience managing construction, engineering, manufacturing or similar complex projects, ideally supported by a relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, project management or a related discipline. A practical understanding of Lean methods, production planning, Last Planner, visual management, process improvement or comparable techniques is highly desirable. You will need strong commercial, organisational and problem-solving skills, together with the confidence to lead teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative and results-focused, with a structured approach to planning and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality outcomes.
