We are seeking a Grid Code Compliance Engineer (all genders) to support the technical compliance of power generation, storage, and transmission-connected assets with applicable grid codes and connection requirements. In this role, you will interpret national and international grid regulations, translate them into clear technical specifications, and coordinate their implementation throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with engineering, project management, commissioning, operations, and external partners to ensure that systems meet all required electrical performance and documentation standards.

Your responsibilities will include preparing grid compliance studies, reviewing connection agreements and technical requirements, and assessing network models, protection concepts, control functions, and power quality characteristics. You will coordinate simulation activities such as load-flow, short-circuit, dynamic, fault-ride-through, and frequency response analyses, while validating results against defined compliance criteria. You will also support the preparation of compliance test plans, witness factory and site acceptance tests, analyse measurement data, and manage the resolution of deviations or non-conformities. In addition, you will maintain technical records, contribute to certification and permitting processes, and communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

You have a degree in electrical engineering, power systems, energy technology, or a comparable discipline, together with practical experience in grid integration, network studies, or electrical compliance. Knowledge of relevant grid codes, connection standards, and power system simulation tools is essential; experience with renewable energy, battery storage, HVDC, or converter-based generation is an advantage. You are confident interpreting technical regulations, evaluating complex data, and producing accurate engineering documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a structured working style, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are required. Professional proficiency in English is essential, while additional language skills are welcome. Willingness to travel occasionally for project meetings, inspections, or testing activities is expected.
