EWI has partnered with an Environmental firm that is quickly growing into one of the top Employee-Owned groups in California, to find a Senior CEQA/NEPA Project Manager for their Sacramento office focusing on their Northern California projects in a variety of sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track-record in leading CEQA/NEPA document preparation, coordinating environmental compliance efforts with other environmental planning staff, technical specialists, and sub-consultants. They must have a strong background in Environmental Consulting and demonstrated technical expertise in environmental impact assessment and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and Prepare CEQA compliance documents and technical studiesAlign with Client expectations by keeping up with schedules, budget, and by providing technical guidanceEnsure compliance with environmental regulations, project requirements, and quality standards.Interact with clients and agencies such as: CDFW, RWQCB, and USACE.Participate in stakeholder meetings, public hearings, and outreach initiatives.Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development efforts.Possess strong QA/QC skillsCollaborate with project teams to drive successful project outcomes.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in environmental planning, environmental sciences, urban planning, geography, or a related field.At least 8 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, with a focus on CEQA/NEPA complianceExperience in leading proposals and managing CEQA documentsProven ability to manage project budgets, contracts, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Ability to travel within the region as needed (valid driver's license required).Compensation & Benefits:
