An established transport company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in consultancy, development, tender-stage engineering, and pre-contract work. This role offers a competitive salary in the range of AED 15,000 - 23,000.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily procurement operations and vendor sourcing.
Lead supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and purchase order processes.
Ensure cost efficiency, compliance with company and UAE regulations, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
Collaborate with engineering teams during pre-contract stages to align procurement strategy.
Analyse procurement data to improve sourcing efficiency and value.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the UAE.
Solid understanding of UAE procurement standards, contract types, and vendor management.
Proven negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
