Opportunity
My client is a leading European Consultancy who are working on behalf of the end client and have been carrying out the Design Reviews & supervising the construction of major European Rail connection project. The project is the Rail Baltica scheme, linking Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to the European Rail Network.
The successful individual shall be joining an international team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this project, supported by a strong team of engineers across all disciplines.
Job Role / Responsibilities
Your responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:
Supervise on-site construction activities carried out by the Contractor, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Support the administration and execution of the FIDIC (Red Book) contract to ensure smooth project delivery and contractual compliance. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams-including Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance, Geodesy, Logistics, and Engineering-to provide integrated construction solutions. Review and approve subcontractors, construction equipment, and material selections to uphold quality and meet project requirements. Contribute to the DRCP process by preparing constructability reviews and cost optimization reports that drive project efficiency. Lead and coordinate regional construction supervision teams, ensuring effective communication and execution across all project sites. Work closely with the Project Director; actively attend weekly and monthly progress meetings with the Client to maintain alignment and project transparency.
Requirements
Graduate in Civil Engineering (or related subject) Chartership would be preferred 15+ years experience in Railway Related projects Previous High Speed rail would be beneficial Ability to work in Europe

Role OverviewAs the Technical Project Manager, you will be accountable for the technical execution and delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS EPC projects. Your role will span detailed engineering review, contractor management, quality control, construction oversight, and project commissioning. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete EPC lifecycle of solar PV and battery storage projects, from design through to handover.
Review and validate engineering designs, single-line diagrams, and system integration (PV, BESS, SCADA, MV).
Oversee contractor performance during procurement, civil works, mechanical and electrical installation, and commissioning.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering consultants, OEMs, suppliers, lenders' engineers, and government entities.
Monitor technical compliance with grid codes, HSE standards, and environmental regulations.
Lead technical risk assessments and proactively implement corrective actions.
Report on technical progress, quality assurance, and cost control to senior stakeholders.
Requirements5+ years of EPC or IPP experience in solar PV and battery energy storage systems (utility-scale preferred).
Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
Strong understanding of hybrid systems, SCADA architecture, EMS/PMS integration, and MV distribution networks.
