We are seeking a Field Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects from planning through to completion. Working across active project sites, you will coordinate technical activities, monitor progress, and help ensure that work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, programmes, and quality standards. The role will involve regular collaboration with project managers, site supervisors, design teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing drawings, technical documents, and method statements; identifying and resolving engineering issues; supporting site investigations and surveys; preparing progress reports and technical records; and tracking project milestones, resources, costs, and risks. You will assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination, inspect completed work, manage requests for information and technical queries, and help maintain accurate project documentation. You will also contribute to planning meetings, commissioning activities, testing, handover, and close-out. A strong commitment to health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements is essential, including the ability to promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, mechanical, electrical, or another relevant engineering discipline, together with experience supporting projects in a site-based or field engineering environment. You will need the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports, as well as strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication is required, with the confidence to work effectively with varied stakeholders and provide clear technical information. Experience using project management, document control, and engineering software will be advantageous. The successful candidate will be practical, dependable, and adaptable, with a willingness to travel to project locations and work flexibly to meet operational requirements.
