Job Title: EHS Manager - Grid Infrastructure Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety compliance on major grid infrastructure projects across Europe. This contract role will play a key part in ensuring that all site activities are executed in accordance with local legislation, client standards, and best practices for high-risk environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the project's EHS strategy and management systems.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure proactive hazard identification and mitigation.Drive a strong safety culture across all teams and subcontractors through coaching, training, and consistent EHS communication.Manage incident investigations, develop corrective action plans, and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.Coordinate with construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to ensure alignment on EHS objectives and practices.Maintain all site EHS documentation and ensure reporting is accurate and compliant with internal and external requirements.Monitor and report on EHS KPIs, proposing improvements where necessary to meet project safety targets.Requirements:
Proven track record as an EHS Manager or Senior EHS Advisor on infrastructure or energy-related projects, ideally in high-voltage transmission, substations, or grid solutions.In-depth understanding of European EHS regulations, standards, and enforcement practices.Certified in NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent.Strong leadership and communication skills with experience influencing safe behaviors on international, multicultural sites.Fluent in English (additional European languages are an asset).Willingness and ability to work on-site and travel within Europe.
