We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Construction specializing in Municipal Water/Wastewater projects to lead our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental considerations. You will collaborate closely with municipal clients, engineering teams, and contractors to develop project plans, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in municipal water and wastewater systems, demonstrating expertise in project management and a thorough understanding of construction methodologies. You will be responsible for directing and mentoring project managers, engineers, and field staff, as well as fostering relationships with stakeholders and community leaders. Additionally, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities and driving strategic growth within the department, including preparing proposals and participating in client presentations.

To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in construction management, particularly within the municipal water and wastewater sector, is required. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
