We are seeking an experienced Custom Home Superintendent to oversee the construction of high-end residential projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating daily site activities, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and ensuring each home is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets. The successful candidate will take ownership of the job site and serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, homeowners, and project management.

Key responsibilities include reviewing plans and scopes of work, establishing and maintaining construction schedules, coordinating subcontractor activities, and monitoring progress against project milestones. You will conduct regular site walks, verify workmanship and materials, identify potential issues early, and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly. The Superintendent will manage site safety, cleanliness, access, and security; arrange inspections; document daily progress; track deliveries; and maintain accurate records of changes, delays, and completed work. Strong communication is essential, particularly when providing updates, resolving field conflicts, managing homeowner expectations, and supporting the closeout and handover process.

Applicants should have several years of experience supervising custom or luxury residential construction, with a strong understanding of building methods, sequencing, codes, and finish quality. The role requires the ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, use construction scheduling or project management software, and confidently lead multiple trades on an active site. Excellent organization, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and professional judgment are essential. A valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, and relevant construction or safety certifications may be required.
