Traction Power (OCS) Expert - Rail | GCC Region

EWI Recruitment is supporting a leading European consultancy in their search for a Traction Power Expert (Overhead Catenary System) to join a prestigious rail project in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your expertise across high-speed, conventional, tram, and metro rail systems.

Location: GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Sector: Rail Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership in OCS/traction power across all phases of rail infrastructure projects.

Conduct design reviews, feasibility assessments, and ensure engineering compliance.

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (civil, track, systems, signalling, etc.).

Support tender documentation, project coordination, and interface management.

Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Engineering, or equivalent.

12+ years of experience in traction power and OCS on rail infrastructure projects.

Expertise across high-speed rail, metro, tram, and conventional rail.

Experience working with international consultancy firms or major contractors is a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
