Our client who is a specialist electrical engineering consultancy, focused on data centres and high-voltage infrastructure projects, is looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager.

The Civil Site Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of all civil construction activities on substation EPC projects, ensuring works are executed safely, to specification, and aligned with the overall project programme

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day civil construction activities on siteCoordinate subcontractors, labour, and plantSupervise earthworks, drainage, foundations, and structuresEnsure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statementsPlan and sequence works in line with EPC programmeMaintain HSE compliance and site regulationsCoordinate with electrical and commissioning teamsMonitor progress, quality, and productivityManage permits, inspections, and quality documentationSupport commissioning and project handover

Preparation phase

Kick-off meeting

ParticipationPresentation of HSE-aspects aligned with respective project managerCall for missing documents from subcontractorReview of site-specific documentation e.g. like induction and HSE-plan

Execution phase

Welcome teams and perform site induction including examCheck compliance of arriving teams according to qualification, validity of certificates etc.Check of PPE, PFPS, tools and equipment (validity of certificates, condition, storage area for blocked equipment…)Ensure that HSE-PM/EPC-contractor agreement is followedImplement HSE-process according to client requirements step by step under client supervision (for explanation as examples: there are several activities that need a ptw (permit to work) which is not implemented in Germany so far as well as several regulations within the HSE-plan. Role Summary

Wind farm site managers, who are also known as wind energy operations managers, oversee the daily operations of wind farms. They are responsible for ensuring staff are maintaining and operating the equipment and that the wind farm is producing energy as expected. They monitor the production levels and interact with customers as part of their regular duties. Wind farm site managers are also responsible for ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that business records are properly maintained. They may also be involved with training or hiring staff for specific roles and responsibilities.
