Commissioning Team Leader - Electrical Engineer (10+ Years' Experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Team Leader with a solid background in electrical engineering to lead on-site commissioning for high-voltage substations. The successful candidate will oversee all field execution activities, manage technical teams, and ensure compliance with project timelines, safety standards, and quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the commissioning phase of high-voltage substation projects (GIS/AIS up to 400kV).Coordinate with site engineers, protection engineers, and installation teams.Oversee all functional testing and energization procedures for switchgear, transformers, and associated control systems.Manage site reporting, risk assessments, and handover documentation.Act as the primary technical interface between the site and engineering offices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in HV substation commissioning, including team leadership.Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors on site.Strong understanding of international safety and quality standards.Experience working in the GCC region preferred.
