EWI are looking for experienced Wind Turbine Commissioning Engineers to join a utility-scale wind farm project in Japan. The successful candidates will support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and turbine handover activities during the final stages of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Execute commissioning activities on utility-scale wind turbine generators (WTGs)Perform electrical, mechanical and functional testing of turbine systemsComplete turbine start-up, commissioning and operational verification activitiesDiagnose and resolve technical faults during commissioningSupport turbine energisation and grid compliance testingComplete commissioning records, test reports and punch-list itemsEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with project quality and HSE requirementsLiaise with site management and technical teams to ensure successful project deliverySupport final turbine handover and acceptance processesRequirements
