We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer HVAC/Mechanical (m/f/d) to support the successful delivery of complex building services and mechanical systems. In this role, you will plan, coordinate and execute commissioning activities for HVAC, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing and related mechanical installations. You will work closely with project managers, design teams, contractors and client representatives to ensure that systems are installed, tested and operated in accordance with approved designs, specifications, safety requirements and applicable standards.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing technical documentation, commissioning plans and method statements; preparing inspection and test procedures; coordinating functional performance testing; and identifying, documenting and resolving defects. You will witness equipment testing, verify control sequences and system integration, support balancing and optimisation activities, and ensure that commissioning records, test results, operation manuals and handover documentation are complete and accurate. You will also participate in site meetings, track outstanding actions and provide technical guidance during installation, start-up and close-out phases.

The ideal candidate has a degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, building services engineering or a related discipline, together with practical experience in HVAC or mechanical commissioning. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, health and safety requirements, control systems and building management systems is desirable. You should be confident interpreting drawings, schematics and technical specifications, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, along with a structured approach to troubleshooting and reporting. The position may involve regular travel to project sites and collaboration with international teams. Professional proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
