We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of heating, ventilation and air conditioning projects across commercial buildings, offices, retail premises, healthcare facilities and other large-scale environments. You will take ownership of projects from initial planning and mobilisation through to installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing specifications, drawings and contracts; preparing programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and risk assessments; coordinating engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives; and monitoring progress against key milestones. You will manage variations, commercial issues, documentation and project reporting, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. The role will also involve attending site meetings, resolving technical and operational challenges, overseeing testing and commissioning, and ensuring that health and safety, building regulations and industry standards are consistently followed.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical services projects, ideally from a main contractor, specialist subcontractor or building services environment. A strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation practices, construction programmes, contract requirements and project cost control is essential. You should be confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational, leadership and communication skills are required, together with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. Relevant technical, project management or construction qualifications are desirable, as is experience with project management software and standard reporting tools.
