We are looking for a motivated apprentice to train as an Electrician specialising in Energy and Building Technology. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop a recognised professional qualification in a future-oriented technical field. During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial and public buildings, while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Your responsibilities will include installing cables, sockets, lighting systems, distribution boards and control equipment, as well as assisting with the commissioning of electrical installations. You will learn to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams, carry out measurements and safety checks, identify faults and support the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment. The role will also involve working with smart building technology, energy-efficient systems, communication networks and, where applicable, renewable energy solutions. You will be expected to follow technical standards, health and safety regulations and environmental requirements at all times.

We are seeking applicants who have a genuine interest in electrical engineering, technology and practical problem-solving. A good level of numeracy, reliability, careful working habits and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Applicants should be willing to learn, physically fit enough for practical work and comfortable working in different environments, including construction sites and occupied buildings. A secondary school qualification is desirable, and previous technical or practical experience would be an advantage but is not essential. You can expect structured training, varied tasks, support from experienced colleagues and opportunities to build a long-term career in electrical installation, building services or energy technology.
