They are in need of someone who is a motivated leader in the field that's well-versed in Endangered Species and Protected Species with a focus on fauna and aquatics. Key Responsibilities:
- Survey fauna and protected species for plant and wildlife
- Manage habitat assessments
- Prepare reports for CEQA/NEPA documentation
- Assist permitting efforts
What they need:
- 7 years or more leading collection of detailed field data, working in remote field locations.
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Botany, or relevant field
- Firm Understanding of wetland and water resource data collection techniques
- Knowledgeable of local ecosystems and their protected and invasive species
- Knowledgeable of local and federal regulations like CWA, ESA, CPCWQCA, and CFGC.
