The Role
They're hiring a Manager of Transmission & Interconnection to support a rapidly growing utility-scale portfolio. You'll be responsible for leading all interconnection and transmission activities from concept through NTP across a diverse pipeline of solar and storage projects in key ISOs (PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO, ERCOT). This position sits at the intersection of grid strategy, project development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end interconnection application processes, including feasibility, system impact, and facility studies
* Track and analyze transmission constraints, congestion, and curtailment risk in priority markets
* Serve as the technical point of contact with ISOs/RTOs, utilities, and consultants
* Support site origination with grid availability assessments and thermal hosting analysis
* Drive internal strategy on queue positioning, project clustering, and grid optimization
* Provide risk assessments and interconnection timelines to cross-functional teams (development, finance, legal, and engineering)

What You Bring
* 4+ years of experience in interconnection or transmission planning within the renewables or power sector
* Deep familiarity with ISO/RTO processes - ideally PJM and MISO
* Experience managing interconnection requests, including generator interconnection applications and queue participation
* Technical fluency with power flow studies, load flow, congestion analysis (PSSE, PowerWorld, etc. is a plus)
* Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams
* Self-starter with a bias for action and strong project management chops

* Experience with battery storage and hybrid project modeling
* Prior work with a developer, IPP, or utility in a similar capacity
