Site Manager - Hydropower Turbine Overhaul (Ireland)

Location: Ireland
Project: Overhaul of Hydro Turbine
Start Date: 22nd April 2025
Duration:

Phase 1: April 2025 - December 2025
Phase 2: February 2026 - September 2026

Working Hours: Monday - Saturday, 50-55 hours per week

Project Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a hydropower turbine overhaul project in Ireland. The project involves dismantling, factory refurbishment, reinstallation, and commissioning of the hydro turbine following machine damage.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire site operation to ensure successful project execution
Lead a site team consisting of two supervisors and up to ten laborers
Maintain daily site documentation, including progress reports, deviation tracking, time sheets, material usage, and daily reports using Insite LSM
Coordinate material logistics and ensure smooth supply chain operations
Manage and liaise with contractors, clients, and third parties to ensure effective communication and execution
Ensure the site complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and meets quality requirements

Requirements:

Must-Have:

Proven track record as a Site Manager on EPC projects of similar scale
Experience managing contracts with time and material structures
Fluent in English

Beneficial:

Previous experience in the hydropower sector
Experience in refurbishment projects
