SUMMARY

The Major Operations Supervisor responsibilities are to assure that all the Major Operations (Cranes works) program for the region is executed according to time line, customer expectations, achieving the highest standard of quality and consistency while all the EHS rules and safe procedures are compliance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate actively in each Majors Operation, supervising all the stages, preparation, coordination, execution, and Also support in the development of the new tools & methodology to increase efficiency, increase safety for all operations under Majors operation responsibility. You may also be required to insure supervision work during project installation phase.
  • Coordinate site activities and work closely with other Client Wind Organizations (PS&W, PM, GFO, Parts, Tools, EHS, etc…) during the operation. Provide feedback and contribute to best practices reducing risks to zero and assure continues improvement for all
  • Review all documentation and provide input as and when necessary relative to Major Operations (cranes works) activities when while following best practices and safe
  • Provide technical and process implementation, sharing know-how, supporting new regions while assuring standardization is

  • Perform statistical analysis of cycle time, and provide recommendations, share best practices, to improve
  • Perform other duties as

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experienced level. Has the knowledge and skill to oversee outage management within a competency and may possesses expertise in a secondary competency. Demonstrates mentor and team lead
  • Good knowledge & experience in Wind turbine equipment
  • Strong I.T Skills ''Excel & Word'' and familiarization with ERP systems
  • Ability to lead change
  • Good organization sense
  • Leadership skills
  • Accountable and committed
  • Cost oriented, organized, resourceful and proactive

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical/University degree or qualifying
  • Proven experience in O&M, commissioning, installation activities with related crane activities "Majors Operations".
  • Sound knowledge and expertise in field, excellent Interpretation of lifting plans
  • Use to work with heavy lift, in challenging conditions
  • Certified in handling & rigging activities.
  • Technically experienced in electro-mechanical
  • Valid driver's
  • Physically fit to climb WTG towers on a daily basis.
  • English language required, other languages will be
  • Willingness to travel as required for business
