Hydrology & Drainage Expert - GCC

EWI Recruitment is supporting a leading European consultancy in their search for a Hydrology & Drainage Expert to join a high-profile water infrastructure project in the GCC region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a major development shaping the future of water and environmental sustainability in the region.

Sector: Water Infrastructure
Type: Full-time Consultancy Role
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive hydrological analysis, stormwater management, and drainage assessments.

  • Develop and review stormwater drainage solutions in line with international and local standards.

  • Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations and best engineering practices.

  • Produce technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to deliver integrated design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in hydrology, drainage, and stormwater systems on large-scale infrastructure or water-related projects.

  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of modelling tools and drainage simulation.

  • Familiarity with regional regulations and conditions in the GCC is highly advantageous.

  • Proven ability to work in complex, fast-paced project environments.
