Job Title: SCADA Engineer (Contract)
Location: UK/Europe (Remote/On-Site Options Available)
Contract Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension)

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SCADA Engineer to join our team on an immediate contract basis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems, ensuring seamless operation and integration of control systems. This position is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in SCADA systems, particularly with GE's control systems, Zenon, and DsAgile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems and control systems for various projects across the UK/Europe.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SCADA systems, ensuring optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of SCADA solutions.
- Conduct system upgrades, optimizations, and configurations as required.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to SCADA systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Support integration efforts with third-party systems and platforms.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and provide end-user training where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience working with SCADA systems, particularly in control systems environments.
- Expertise in Zenon and DsAgile platforms, with proven hands-on experience in their configuration and support.
- Experience with GE control systems, including both hardware and software components.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, and other automation technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with GE as a client or partner.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards within the energy or industrial sectors.
- Helicopter training and certification (an asset for site-based work).
