This role offers the chance to take the technical lead on prestigious dam projects, driving innovation and ensuring the highest standards of structural integrity and safety across embankment and concrete dams, from initial feasibility studies through to construction and commissioning.

The Role
As a Senior Dam Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the design, engineering, and technical supervision of embankment and concrete dams, from conceptual design through detailed design, tendering, construction, and operation phases.

  • Be willing to travel internationally for site inspections, project meetings, and short- to mid-term assignments as needed.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled engineer who possesses:

  • MSc in Civil Engineering (a PhD specializing in dam engineering, geotechnical or structural engineering is a strong advantage).

  • A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in dam engineering, ideally across both Swiss and international projects.

  • A solid track record in the design, construction supervision, inspection, and rehabilitation of embankment and concrete dams.

  • Advanced proficiency in performing static, dynamic, and seismic analyses of dam structures, including numerical modeling techniques.

  • Deep knowledge of international dam engineering standards and regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and clients.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French and/or German is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.

Why Join?

  • Join a highly respected, innovative firm recognized for delivering landmark energy and infrastructure projects globally.

  • Play a lead role on impactful, complex projects that contribute to sustainable water and energy development.

  • Benefit from a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.

  • Enjoy structured career progression, training, and personal development opportunities in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

  • Work alongside some of the best technical experts in the dam and hydropower engineering sector.

This is a rare and exclusive opportunity for an ambitious Senior Dam Engineer ready to step into a leadership role at the forefront of the industry.
