Financial Analyst - (Investment and Project Finance) - Renewable Developer

Unique opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join truly Global Developer, with presence across several locations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy investments in Europe.

Client profile: Prominent global solar project developer and operator, is at the forefront of renewable energy innovation. Operating in over 10 countries worldwide, we are deeply embedded in regions where the solar power project markets are experiencing rapid growth, driven by improved government policies. Our strategic focus is on cultivating high-margin project development opportunities within these thriving markets, particularly in the United States and Europe, where we hold market-leading positions in various geographies.

Your Responsibilities:

In-Depth Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investments and compile comprehensive Investment Committee Memos. This includes analyzing the commercial, financial, and operational aspects of projects, actively participating in project structuring, conducting due diligence, and contributing to the documentation of selected investment ventures.

Financial Modeling Expertise: Adapt financial models to suit each project's unique requirements (knowledge of VBA is a plus), ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial projections.Project Financing Support: Collaborate throughout the project financing process, from its inception to closure, ensuring all financial aspects are well-managed and aligned with our strategic goals.Data-Driven Insights: Analyze complex financial data and reports to provide timely, precise financial recommendations to our management team, facilitating informed decision-making.Strategic M&A Contributions: Work closely with the business to generate actionable insights for mergers and acquisitions, contributing to our growth strategy.Support Senior Management: Provide in-depth financial and business analysis to support our senior management team in steering the company's financial strategy.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Hold a Master's degree in finance or accounting (MSc/Master), providing you with a strong foundation for this role.Financial Modeling Proficiency: Demonstrate robust financial modeling skills, enabling you to create accurate and reliable financial projections.Industry Experience: Bring at least 3 years of experience in the energy industry or a project financing-related role, allowing you to navigate the complexities of the field.Accounting Acumen: Possess a strong accounting background to ensure comprehensive financial analysis.Grace Under Pressure: Exhibit the ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure in demanding situations.Collaborative Spirit: Work seamlessly with diverse teams across different countries, reflecting our global reach.Entrepreneurial Drive: Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit, driving innovation and growth within our organization.

Salary: 70,000 to 90,000 euros - negotiable depending on experience
