Grid Connection Manager - Wind & PV Projects - Germany

Client Profile: Our client, a key player in the renewable energy sector, is at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions. With several gigawatts of wind and solar projects on secured land, they are driving one of the largest renewable energy project pipelines in Germany. Currently, they are developing gigawatt-scale projects in onshore wind energy, ground-mounted PV, and Floating PV. To fortify their Project Site Business, they are seeking a Grid Connection Manager.

Your Responsibilities:

You will assume responsibility for the electrotechnical planning for grid connections and infrastructure in the high-voltage and extra-high-voltage range. This will encompass all stages, from initial planning and construction supervision to acceptance and certification.Plan and coordinate grid connections in accordance with technical and economic criteria.Provide planning support to the project development and purchasing teams in matters related to electrical engineering.Independently and diligently manage contracts with both internal and external service providers.Ensure strict adherence to quality and technical standards.Act as the primary communication interface with suppliers, responsible network operators, and serve as the contact person for technical and contractual regulations within the company.Coordinate and facilitate the acceptance of electrotechnical trades and their technical documentation.

Your Profile:

Hold a degree in electrical engineering, engineering, or a comparable field (FH/TH/Uni).Possess professional experience in electrical planning within the high and extra-high voltage sector.Demonstrated understanding of contractual and business contexts.Exhibit an independent, structured, goal-oriented work approach, coupled with reliability and initiative.Strong communication skills, team spirit, and readiness for action.Proficiency in negotiation and coordination, with a knack for assertiveness.Familiarity with MS Office and other specialist software (Power Factory, AutoCAD).Good command of written and spoken English.

Location: East Germany Salary: Up to 95,000 euros per annum
