Position - Wind Site Manager
Location - Ireland

Role Summary
Wind farm site managers, who are also known as wind energy operations managers, oversee the daily operations of wind farms. They are responsible for ensuring staff are maintaining and operating the equipment and that the wind farm is producing energy as expected. They monitor the production levels and interact with customers as part of their regular duties. Wind farm site managers are also responsible for ensuring that safety protocols are followed and that business records are properly maintained. They may also be involved with training or hiring staff for specific roles and responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a team that represents values and high standards of performanceProvide effective leadership that achieves a highly aligned, engaged and motivated site team that produces high-level results against Key Performance Indicators and Operational ObjectivesEstablish and maintain highly effective relationships with customers and internal partnersImplement and manage all safety practices and protocols within the organizational standards to ensure compliance and optimal safety results with a team that demonstrates safe behavioursAchieves a culture of excellence (safety focus, structure, work discipline) and continuous improvement with the site organization to advance capability and performance in all operational areasResponsible for the site budget, cost centre management, and operational efficiencyResponsible for customer account management and service contract complianceResponsible for the management, effectiveness and efficiency of site assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, office, etc.)Willingness to embrace and promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belongingQualifications
Associates degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferredExperience and knowledge of wind turbines operationsWill consider similar industry and/or technology such as hydraulic, rotating heavy equipment service and maintenanceSignificant experience as a leader of a field-deployed technician team with responsibility for scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceExperience managing safety programs that include LOTO, Electrical, Fall Arrest & High Angle Emergency Decent, and Confined SpacePrevious accountability for budgeting, P&L, and cost managementValid driver's license, passport and ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives Must have CSCS card and SMSTS Certificate

Role Summary
As a Project Manager your main responsibility is to manage and control the project assigned to you in terms of time, cost and quality from the point of handover from Sales up until handover to the client and Service organisation.
Essential Responsibilities:
Support the Sales organization in the final stages of tender processes and facilitate a smooth handover from Sales to Project ManagementResponsibility to execute projects on-time, within budget and to good qualityManage and monitor all aspects of environment, health and safety in your assigned projectsBeing the first contact for all parties involved in the project such as client, subcontractors, suppliers and any other internal or external partyRepresenting company to our clients - creating a good relationship with the client and delivering customer satisfactionRunning negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers as well as contract management of bothManage personnel and provide strong control of subcontractors and key suppliers including but not limited to erection and transportation companies throughout the project execution phaseSecuring correct project handling and creating a successful cross departmental and often multicultural teamDefine and initiate appropriate corrective actions for problems encountered during the execution of the project (related to cost, time and/or quality)Creating necessary transparency with regards to optimization of cost-effectiveness in cooperation with Commercial Project Management.Work within company processes to manage and report progress on project with a monthly status reportManage and report KPIsFacilitate a smooth handover to colleagues in Service, at the same time as handover to the clientQualifications/ Requirements:

Experience from the wind energy sector or in general energy sectors is considered an advantageExperience in project management incl. full responsibility for multi-million EUR contracts with strong commercial and financial acumenTechnical background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or similar disciplineHSE awareness that shows in your daily approach to your roleMandatory to speak English and German language that allow you to communicate effectively in both writing and in meetings / calls. Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the turbine installation team on a major onshore wind farm project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the transportation, erection, and assembly of wind turbines, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion safety objectives and cultivate a culture of safe working practices across all activities.
Provide technical expertise and leadership, ensuring smooth coordination across the logistics, erection, and assembly of wind turbines.
Oversee the entire transport, erection, and assembly process, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.
Implement and uphold stringent quality control measures throughout the project's phases.
Proactively address issues or obstacles, identifying opportunities for process improvements during turbine transport, erection, and assembly.
Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager on contractor coordination, planning, and execution.
Provide technical advice and support to both employees and contractors, ensuring all activities adhere to best practices and safety standards.
Maintain operational oversight during the construction phase, ensuring smooth daily site operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of turbine transportation, erection, and assembly procedures.
Proven experience in WTG installation, with relevant qualifications.
A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in turbine transport, erection, and assembly, with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A strong commitment to health and safety leadership, with a proven ability to drive safety performance.
Exceptional organisational, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong problem-solving attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
