Rail Electrical/Mechanical QA Engineer - Philippines

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer, from an Electrical or Mechanical background for an ongoing Rail/ Metro project in the Philippines, working on behalf of the end client.

This role is on behalf of a leading consulting engineering firm, working in close coordination with the QA Manager to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance across all aspects of the project.

You will play a key role in supervising the Electromechanical (E&M) systems and rolling stock, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the QA Manager in implementing the Quality Assurance Program for E&M systems and rolling stock.Supervise installation and integration of electrical and mechanical systems across the project.Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved quality procedures and specifications.Conduct audits, inspections, and prepare QA reports in accordance with project timelines.Liaise with construction teams, contractors, and suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Support documentation, testing, and commissioning processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance, preferably within rail, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.Prior experience with E&M systems and rolling stock is essential.Strong knowledge of international QA/QC standards and procedures.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.

Salary Package:

The salary package is flexible depending on experience but expected to be between $7,000 & $9,000 per month (TAX FREE) with an additional allowance for accommodation.
