Position - Warehouse/Materials Manager (Onshore Wind Farm)

The Warehouse/Materials Manager Site main job purpose is to ensure that all the materials will be available on time and in the correct conditions to comply with the construction and assembly planning process.

Warehouse/Materials Manager Site coordinates arrival of materials with back office colleagues, will take care of local sourced materials and will also coordinate the materials in containers from port at destination to site (in case a port is involved).

Responsibilities:

Follow up short and long term supply of materials to site to identify potential material shortages.Follow up of the deliveries until windfarm (except major components).Coordinate with Material Handling Leader deliveries from Local Suppliers to the Site Warehouse.Coordinate with Material Handling Leader deliveries from Port (only containers) to the Site Warehouse.Identify possible missing parts/delays and inform the rest of the Logistics + MM Team & Project Team if necessary.Coordinate with Site Planner to ensure needed material is available.Issue purchase requisitions (OR-JDE/PR-SAP) for Spare Parts, Replacements and Technical Notifications.Follow up and control of the orders for spare parts, replacements and technical notifications.Purchase of minor components from Local SuppliersSupport Material Manager (back office) by providing visibility of the real on Site situation.Inform Material Manager (back office) concerning Local Supplier's performanceCreate alarm reports to identify potential future missing materialsReport Site indicators (Commercial Incidences)Identify non consumed materials / spare parts by the end of the project for decision making

Health, Safety and Environmental related responsibilities:


The MM Site must:

* Actively participate in safety walks arounds
* Participate in pre-task assessments of work scope & area: coordination of the daily plan of the day
* Enforce Safety regulations and procedures in all activities
* Review all daily HSE events: accidents, incidents, near-misses, unsafe situations or unsafe behaviours
* Participate in reporting hazards/incidents and with suggestions to reduce accident potential and collaborate in accidents/incidents investigation when necessary
* Report any HSE unsafe situations and unsafe acts observed at site
* Participate in the implementation of the HSE corrective actions (short-term or long-term) Eg. Stop the works until it´s safe to workEstablishing and maintaining a safety an environmental behaviour that includes positive recognition
* Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all time and inspected frequently before usage to guarantee a safe workspace. Minimum expectations include 100% use of safety glasses, safety boots and head protection outside office areas and vehicles
* The PPE has to be inspected periodically (as per indicated by local rules) by authorized personnel
* Tools and measuring equipment must be inspected prior start work (Note: Tools may need mandatory inspections. Inspections must be completed in order to continue working).

Quality related responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with all quality standards and legislation
* Report quality deviations occurring during installation, which can cause damage to personnel, environment or property
* Ensure adherence to quality processes at all times, including opening ServiceNow tickets /non-conformity reports (NCR)
* Create possible derogation/engineering approval Service Now

Job requirements:

The Wind Turbine Commissioning Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of wind turbines at our various project sites. Responsibilities:
