Systems Assurance Manager - Canada

EWI are supporting a leading European Railway Infractructure comapny in their search for a Systems Assurance Manager for a major LRT project in Canada. The role involves overseeing the safety, verification, and validation (V&V) of all systems across the project, including signalling, rolling stock, and SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead systems assurance, safety, RAMS, and V&V activities across all LRT systems.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards (EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129).

Manage V&V plans, safety cases, and assurance reports.

Interface with stakeholders to ensure project safety and assurance requirements are met.

Support integration and commissioning teams.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

15+ years in rail systems assurance, safety, V&V, and RAMS.

Experience with LRT/rail projects and relevant international standards.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Must be willing to relocate to Edmonton.

Right to work in Canada is preferred (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
