Are you looking for a new assignment as Load Out coordinator Cables for a client in South Korea?

My client has an urgent requirement for Load Out coordinator supporting a project for the next 6 months. The suitable candidate would be (but not limited) to:

  • Assist in Cable Pull-in trials on Foundation and Substations.
  • Representative during Load Out from LS cables to vessel.
  • Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
  • Maintain a very high focus on safety throughout the complete operations.
  • Prepare and distribute Daily Reports as required.
  • Review and understand Risk Assessments/Method Statements and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
  • Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
  • During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during load out. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
  • Participate in safety walks with HSE representatives from the clients HSE representative(s) and Contractor organisations.
  • Complete and submit handover documents, after completed load out, before sail away.
  • Daily recording of activities relating to load-out
  • Walkdown reports
  • Handover documentation

The suitable candidate would need to have the following qualification and/or working knowledge:

  • The Load Out and Trial Coordinator shall have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant subsea cable related works. Additionally heavy lifts, transporting heavy loads or load outs, Marine Warranty Survey and /or vessel inspections.
  • Participation in a one-day induction course for Load Out Coordinators offered by the client once per construction project.
  • The Load Out and Trial Coordinator must have attended an d induction
  • A can-do attitude and strong communication skills, good to very good English skills, spoken as well as written.
  • Understands the importance of safety regulations (Safety mindset).
  • Ability to speak your mind while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet).
  • Ideally be able to communicate in Korean spoken and written form.

The client is looking for the suitable candidate to start ASAP, due to the current restriction and urgent nature; candidates would need to be based in South Korea or have the ability to enter South Korea without visa and restrictions to work.
